Our Town Beginnings
Our Town began in 1972 as a small welcoming program for new families in the small town of Newton, Iowa.
Our Town welcomed new residents with a personalized gift package from local area businesses. The overall intent was not only to be a warm welcome for new families but also to introduce new movers to local businesses and help businesses gain new and loyal customers every month.
As a result of the program’s success, Our Town continues to welcome new residents across the country helping new movers find local businesses, and business find new customers.

Our postcards take you to the next level of your relationship with new movers, building a first-time acquaintance into a long-term, loyal customer. We’ll give you their name, provide you with an address, and even send them another gift on your behalf.

Our rate is based upon selections you make such as the number of zip codes, dwelling type, certificate type, our community magnet and a few other options.

Exclusivity
12-Month sponsorship ensures category exclusivity. 6-Month trial program does not include exclusivity.

You choose the zip codes that make the most sense for your business anywhere in the US.

At your request Our Town will provide you with a list of families who receive your certificate.
